Waste to Wealth with Oak Valley Middle School

Help these up and coming environmental stewards learn about reducing waste and caring for our planet.

Over three days, we will be working with 15 science classes of 6th graders from different schools in the area. Through hands on workshops and demonstrations we will teach them about reducing waste and composting. Join us in making an impact on the next generation of Eco-stewards!

At this volunteer event you will be helping with:

  • Setting up our presentation space
  • Assisting with projector and microphone prep
  • Sharing presentation materials
  • Advancing presentation slides
  • Encouraging student listening and engagement
  • Packing up our presentation materials
