Fruit Tree Pruning, Compost, and Mulch

Join Solana Center for this 2-hour presentation where you will learn proper tree pruning techniques, best practices for reducing landscaping waste, and the basics of composting. Using trial-tested advice, our expert educators will teach you all you need to know to get started with a method that fits your needs.

In this workshop, we will cover the following topics:

  • Proper tree pruning techniques
  • Best practices for landscaping waste reduction
    • Proper plant selection/location to reduce green waste
    • Proper green waste disposal
  • What is composting and why it is so important

Preferential registration will be given to professional landscapers and tree trimmers serving unincorporated San Diego County. All other registrants will be added to a wait list. Wait list will be opened 1-2 weeks prior to the workshop to fill available spaces.

Workshop deposit: $20. Due to limited space, a deposit is required to hold your space. This deposit will be returned to all attendees upon signing in at the workshop. The deposit is nonrefundable to registrants who do not attend the workshop.
