Composting and Intro to Bokashi Workshop at Lakeside River Park

Make a difference and help our community learn about improving the quality of our soil, reducing waste and air pollution and saving energy, money, and water through composting!

Assist one of our Solana Center educators during this 2-hour presentation and, and at the same time, learn the basics of traditional composting and Bokashi (decomposition through fermentation!). 

In this workshop, you will assist with:

  • Setting up our presentation area (tables, chairs, info material, etc)
  • Event sign-ups and registration
  • Advancing PowerPoint slides or handling our flip chart
  • Sharing props and visuals
  • Packing up our presentation supplies
