*NOTE: A server error is causing discrepancies in event times listed across our website. The correct time for this event is 3:30 - 4:30 PM PST.* This workshop will show your family how to harvest and use "black gold" from your worm bin to grow a healthy garden. This is the final part of our 3-part Family Fun series, "Support Global Worming!" in partnership with Alpine Branch Library.

You've built a successful worm bin, created the perfect conditions, and now have a bin full of worm casting. Wondering how to harvest your "black gold"? Round up the family and join Solana Center's knowledgeable staff for a 1-hour presentation on how to harvest and take advantage of the soil amendment created from your food waste.

Unincorporated San Diego County residents who attend 2 or more workshops in this series will receive a FREE kitchen scrap container! Limit 1 per family.
