Join Solana Center for this 30-minute workshop (plus time for questions!) at Dos Valles Garden Club, where you will learn the basics of vermicomposting. Using trial-tested advice and demonstrations, our experienced educators will share the many ways vermicomposting can benefit your garden and how to get started with a bin at home.
In this workshop, we will cover the following topics
- Benefits of composting with worms
- How to set up your own worm bin

If you would like to volunteer for this event...
We request volunteers for this event have some knowledge in Vermicomposting.
All volunteers must sign additional COVID-19 volunteer waiver. All unvaccinated participants must wear a mask. If you are vaccinated and prefer to wear a mask, please do so.
All volunteers must bring to their volunteer shift the day of the event either: Proof of vaccination, either through your issued vaccination card or through California's Digital Covid-19 Vaccine Record. OR Proof of a negative PCR test (only PCR tests will be accepted) taken within 7 days of the event.
As a measure to protect your health information, we will not keep any records of your vaccination or test status.
If you are unable to provide either proof of vaccination or proof of negative PCR test, we ask that you do not volunteer for this event. We have several virtual opportunities that our volunteer coordinator would be more than happy to connect you to.
