Bates Nut Farm hosts their annual Celebrating Farm Life event to educate the public about life on the farm. Special guests will share their knowledge of farm animals, wool spinning, organic gardening, beekeeping, bats, and other aspects of life on the farm. The event will also include live entertainment, food, tractor hayrides, picnicking, pony rides, petting zoo, and facepainting!
Solana Center is bringing our interactive booth to teach families about composting and its importance to a healthy Earth. Help us provide the community with resources and inspiration to incorporate composting into their daily lives.
At this event you will assit with:
- Setting up our booth
- Sharing information about Solana Center
- Sharing information about composting and showing off our worms at work
- Packing up shop
Multiple Shifts Available:
- 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
- 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
