Giving Tuesday 2021

Giving Tuesday is the largest global giving day all year and Solana Center is excited to be a part of this worldwide event. Of the many important learnings to come to light over the past year, it is clear that we need all hands on deck to continue the crucial work to protect the future of our environment.

This year for Giving Tuesday, our goal is to raise $1,500* to help restore our organization's van which was damaged and no longer usable. During the pandemic, the van was not in use, and rats and critters made it their home. We’re asking for help from the community to get it up and running again.

This will allow our staff to attend more community events, offer educational presentations at more schools, and host more workshops throughout San Diego covering the importance of waste diversion, water conservation, healthy soil creation. You can ensure our team's work can continue to make an impact in our community by making a donation today.

With your support, engagement, and passion, Solana Center has reached 13,000+ people including students, businesses and residents over the last year to provide education in 14 of the 19 jurisdictions in the San Diego region.

Reducing global food waste is on the list of the most impactful solutions we know about to counter climate change. If you're looking for a tangible way to make a real difference with food waste prevention, water conservation, recycling, and generally making impactful environmental change in San Diego, now's your opportunity to contribute!

Every dollar you donate will go towards making sure Solana Center's innovative education is available across San Diego county. We are extremely grateful for your participation.

*Any funds raised in excess will go to our general operating funds.
