California will PAY YOU to grow healthy soil!

Join a compost pilot program and earn money!
$3.75 million available for California farmers and ranchers.

Funding is available for you from the Healthy Soils Program (HSP) to:

  • grow rich and healthy soils
  • implement practices that build carbon reservoirs on your land
  • reduce greenhouse gases (GHGs)
  • provide multiple other benefits in soils

Solana Center and Resource Conservation District (RCD) are providing five FREE Technical Assistance Workshops in the San Diego region. We will provide attendees with an overview of the Healthy Soils Program (HSP) and assistance with their applications!

The California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) was appropriated $7.5 million in FY 2016-17 from the California Climate Investments Program for the HSP. CDFA has allocated approximately $3.75 million to the HSP Incentives Program.
